Try doing light activities around the house at short intervals. Such as walking around. Do this consistently throughout the day. This would help improve the digestion process. However, make sure you stay away from other strenuous activities. You can only go back to doing strenuous activities when your surgeon gives you the go-ahead.

Stay hydrated

Take as much water as you can. You should take at least 8 cups of water a day. This would help improve bowel movement.

Take stool softeners

One thing that can also contribute to bloating is constipation. So if you notice that you are constipated you should try taking stool softeners. This would help reduce constipation. And at the same time reduce bloating. So you get to kill two birds with one stone.

Stop taking pain killers

As soon as you can stop taking pain killers. Narcotics are known to affect bowel movement. They either slow it down or stop it entirely. And this leads to bloating. So for you to deal with bloating as soon as you can stop taking those pain killers as soon as you can.

Take laxatives

They help reduce bloating. But it’s important that you consume them carefully. Make sure you take the right dosage and amount. And don’t abuse the use of laxatives.

Now you know that bloating is normal after augmentation. Generally, bloating isn’t harmful. Most times it tends to subside on its own.
